Skirmish (2016)
[Team Project: Producer, Game Designer]
Skirmish is a card-based fighting game, combining the strategic elements from card games with the 1v1 fights from fighting games. Every round, both players select their moves, which are then executed at the same time. Skirmish emphasises the strategic element by making players play 3 cards at a time, meaning they have to anticipate their opponents movement and attacks.
Skirmish is designed for easy use, playable on mobile devices with a pass-and-play system. |
Masters of the mudbox (2015)
[Team Project: GameDesign]
'MotMB' is a strategy game with an interesting twist. Players face of against each other or the computer, by creating units and destroying the enemies base. However, players can not give their units orders directly, and must instead choose the behaviour (AI) of their units.
This game was based on an assignment given to second-year Informatics students at the University of Utrecht. In the assignment, students had to write an AI that would be placed on ants in a simulation. Two students' AI's would face off, with the same goal as 'MotMB'.

Heart Core (2015)
[Team Project: Gamedesign]
'Heart Core' is a simulation game designed for Virtual Reality in assignment of Stark Learning. The game was designed and developed to be a part of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training. The user would be placed in a crashing space ship of which the engine has failed. To ensure a safe landing, they have to pump the fuel manually.
The goal of the game was to simulate a distracting environment for the user to practice CPR in. To create this environment, we added visual and auditory distractions, such as flashing lights, alarms and screaming robots.
